ETH-UR — An Official Announcement from The Wayfarer’s Gazette
It has come to the attention of the Gazette’s editorial staff that some readers are less than enthusiastic about the AI-generated illustrations currently decorating our fine publication.
And you know what? We understand.
The Wayfarer’s Gazette was created to celebrate the world of Monsters & Memories, its players, and the community that makes it special. The last thing we want is for our artwork to distract from that purpose or conflict with the creative spirit of the game.
Therefore, the Gazette is officially seeking artists from within the Monsters & Memories community!
Wanted: Three Official Character Portraits
The Gazette is seeking talented artists to create original, hand-drawn illustrations of our three principal personalities:
- Nynkies “Nimblefingers” — Goblin Rogue, Editor-in-Chief, and suspected embezzler of the office supply fund.
- Auntie Agro — Goblin Enchanter, advice columnist, and the only individual brave enough to question Nynkies’ expense reports.
- Shamboogie “Spiritshuffler” — Deep Gnome Shaman, paranormal correspondent, and a fellow whose sources are frequently deceased.
These are paid commissions. Compensation and permission to use the artwork will be agreed upon with each artist before work begins.
Calling All Community Artists!
The Wayfarer’s Gazette is also opening its doors to volunteer artists who would like to see their creations featured in future editions!
Whether your talents include fantasy illustrations, humorous cartoons, sketches of adventurers and monsters, or advertisements for businesses of questionable reputation, there’s always room for more creativity in the Gazette.
We welcome original artwork inspired by the world of Monsters & Memories, whether you’re an experienced illustrator or someone who simply enjoys drawing.
All contributing artists will receive credit for their work, along with an optional link to their portfolio or artist page.
Artists will retain ownership of their original creations while granting the Gazette permission to publish accepted submissions.
After all, what better way to celebrate the community than by featuring the talents of the adventurers themselves?

A Word from the Editor-in-Chief
“The Wayfarer’s Gazette has always supported the arts. Naturally, applications accompanied by a modest donation to the Editor-in-Chief’s Personal Appreciation Fund will receive special consideration.”
— Nynkies “Nimblefingers”
Auntie Agro’s Response:
“Ignore him. We need artists, not another investigation into the missing treasury funds.”
